Consult your employees.

 You should talk to all your employees about health and safety. This could be individually or you could set up group meetings. It does not have to be in depth, or complex. All you have to address is the basics:

  • The work they do, and how health and safety is involved
  • How risks can be monitored and controlled
  • Resources for providing information on training

It is important to address that people have a certain level of responsibility when it comes to health and safety. If it is a small business you can talk to your employees or representative to do a presentation or choice someone to be the representative.
